Question about Harman Kardon iSub Computer Speakers

1 Answer

Is there a way to get vista to use the isub in conjunction with its normal sound operation? it works great on its own but it only works by itself. im not so up to date on the techical aspects of it, but wouldnt you be able to have the audio just go to both sources somehow?

no, i mean im using the audio port for normal comp speakers and was wondering if you could have the comp do the audio output to multiple output sources (when the sub is plugged in its its own output source in the sound properties, such as my soundcard is one, the microsoft default is one, and the sub is one)

If you mean can you use both the internal speekers and the external speekers at the same time, no only on will work at a time.

It not opening

if your loading a complete new system, that sounds like what your doing, did you delete the existing partition C: when you loaded it?
If you didn't your may have left a virus on your hard-drive.
reinstall your vista, when your in setup delete the C: partition and then do a complete format not the quick and reload the operating system, when you get done everything should work great.
If im off base with your issue let me know, give me more information about what your doing.
really would appreciate your feedback
thanks

My isub knocks out the in built speakers when i plug it in, Please help.? Thanks. K... I have a G5 2.1Ghz processor and am using OSX 10.5.6. the isub works for a few seconds then the whole sound goes dead...

It is possible the sub is turned up to high or is drawing to much power and the system goes into protection mode. Turn sub down all the way when connecting, than go into your taskbar, find the volume control icon, right click, go into properties settings and than you can choose which speaker set-up you have.

Amp not makeing any sound at all

I would suggest first to unplug it completely and plug only the power, ground, and remote and see if you get your beloved green light again.

If this indeed gives you the green light, it means that the amp is protecting itself from a short circuit caused by the speakers, check the speaker cables or the speakers themselves..

if this remains the same, it'll be internally in the amp's circuitry.. unfortunately, it'll be dificult to tell you exactly what failed in it.

Samsung S630 - camera works Vista doesn't

Take out all all software that you have installed and drivers . See if Vista will see it on its own. Strictly speaking cameras being USB devices do not need drivers or any other software. Just let Windows[Even Vista] do the work. Though having said that Vista is in big trouble with stuff that do need drivers.
