I draind my hot tub and refilled it and now the pumpis not working .I can hear it running put the water is not coming out of the valves

Shut it off!.
Make sure the water level is above any water intake lines.
Open the pump housing. When you drained the tub, did you also drain the pump? If so, you may need to prime it by filling it with water manually. Also, are there any valves on the pump itself that need to be closed or redirected from a "draining" posisition to a "filter" posisiton.

you most likly have an airlock. check the pump, it will have a filler spud on the top of the pump chamber, fill it with water before operating the pump. you may have to do it several times before it works. Don't run the pump long without water.
