Question about Logitech Cordless Mouse

1 Answer

Cordless desktop I cannot get the mouse or keyboard to show up. I know it's not the logitech stuff, as it works fine on this pc,just doesn't work on the new pc. I have the usb legacy setting to on to let it appear but it still doesn't work. The software thinks the mouse is installed and the battery level of the corded mouse is reported good, HMMM, no batterys. LOLIf anyone else has experienced this peculiar problem I would like to know their fix. I will have to run the other pc, corded for the time being, just want to get this cordless op up on the new pc.

If you are using Vista, and you were using XP before, this means that there is most likely a driver issue.

Unable to connect Logitech cordless keyboard

Of course you know to press the connection button on the receiver then on the keyboard. Since setPoint is recognizing the connection I wonder do the multimedia and function keys work? Do you have the the USB receiver for the KB/Mouse plugged into a hub or KVM switch? If so plug it directly into the back of the PC. See this KB

Can't get acer desktop to recognize logitech cordless mouse

Yes, you need to install the Logitech transmitter for your cordless mouse. The acer transmitter uses a different frequency. You could try pressing the connect button on both the existing transmitter and mouse but that's not likely to work with different manufacturers.

My keyboard will not type!

This seems to always work for me as my Logitech does this too. I plug in the wired keyboard & use it for about 2 hours, then I turn off the PC & plug in the Logitech again and it usually works. I can't explain why this works but I'm always happy when it does. Good luck.

If you know the batteries are good, then turn the keyboard over and find the small reset/connect button and press it. This resets /connects the board to the receiver. If it still doesn work, press the button on the receiver and then the mouse. Hope this is of help to you. Bud
