Either the battery is not being recharged when the engine is running or there is a current drain when stopped. If you are not knowledgeable about electrical tests you can check for current drain by disconnecting the battery negative cable when not running. If the battery stays charged then you need to find the current drain. To check for no charge when running, turn on the headlights with the key on but engine stopped. Start the engine and see if they become somewhat brighter. If brighter, the charging system works. If not, there is a problem in the charging system which needs to be confirmed with a voltmeter.

Month or two the riding Lawnmower tractors battery goes dead?

You can test the charger easily by connecting a remote charger for a few hours. Check the battery connections are tight and that it has water to the level a bove the plates. If the unit runs well for a while and then goes back to your problem the charger needs looking at. Some batteries get very low and then the chargers will not bring them back up. This needs either a new battery or external charging.

I have an older craftsman GT 18 riding lawnmower that came with a snowblower attachment. Do you know how to attach it?

The snowblower attachment manual is available in the manufacturers' website. If not, go to the Murray website. They manufactured these tractors for Sears. You may find the manual there.

Lawnmower is spewing white smoke

white smoke means that there is water in the fuel air mixture during combustion. a bluish white smoke means oil is being burned during combustion. take another look and make sure which one it is. since all mowers ive seen are air cooled the only way water can be getting in the fuel air mixture is through the gas cap. check your gas tank and gas can for water. may be best to empty both and start over with fresh fuel
