Question about Hayward SAND FILTER, PRO SERIES
I have the filter handle of filter so the water is going into the pool, however there is a drip coming out of the backwash port. I put a nozzle on it with a ball valve to try and keep it from leaking out, but it is still dripping from that too. it is coming out of the end, not where I screw the nozzle into. Is there a screw cap I can put on the backwash valve to keep it closed?
You might have it overfilled with sand. It's getting into the seats of the valves.
