You may be able to pick them up at a local shop or they at least can order them for you. You do need part numbers, but to get that, yoou need the model number of the tiller. Post that here and I can give you the part numbers. It will be located on the body of the tiller on a tag that says Model and Serial number.

Yes. Actually you can get a better belt for less at a belt supply store. Bring in your old one and they will match it up.

How to tighten belt on dodge caravan

You don't. I assume you are having issues with the serpentine belt coming off randomly. Understood. This is a problem that has still not been addressed by Chrysler however.... call you your local auto parts store and ask them for the problem solver kit for these vans. Goodyear and Gates make a kit for around $100 with a new belt and the necessary pullies to permanantly solve this issue. I beleive this is the current part number for Goodyear - 49204K.

The van is eating the belt assuming tensioner is bad

Hi there, That's a good guess. Best thing to do is buy a Haynes or Clinton's repair shop manual at your local AP store for your particular vehicle. Then read up on it in the trouble shooting section or the step by step RR section. You can purchase these at your local Auto Parts store or buy them on line at ebay burdfrenzy

Broken belt

The web site below sells Gilson belts - you need the part number. If you do not have the part number, maybe if you contact them, they can match the belt to your tiller number.

http://www.psep.biz/store/gilson_tiller_belts.htm

Also, another web store, Jacks small Engines (jackssmallengines.com) states that they carry parts for Gilson, but I did not find Gilson in their directory. You may have to contact them.
One of the web sites mentioned that at some point Gilson was bought by Lawn Boy. If you go to a local Lawn Boy dealer, they may be able to match up a belt.
I have a 1978 WheelHorse tractor. The drive belt for the mowing deck broke. I went to Home Depot, spend a good 1/2 hour measuring belts, and found one that works perfectly. If you go to your local outdoor equipment shop, especially one that sells, repairs tillers, they may be able to match up a belt for you. A belt is a belt is a belt. If you go to a "good old fashioned shop" that will spend the time, they can measure the old belt and hopefully come up with a match.
Good Luck!

The tensioner pulley on my 1997 Cherolet Cavalier Z24 will not move so I can replace my serpentine belt. The old belt wore off while driving.

You will have to replace your serpentine belt tensioner. Call local auto parts store and ask them if you can get just the pully or if you have to by the whole tensioner. Call around and don't be surprised if you can't get what you need from your local auto parts store because some do not carry after market belt tensionrs. In this case you will need to order it from a GM dealership's parts department.

Want to elimanate AC I need a diagrahm of how to route belts

Check at your local parts store to see if they carry a pulley assembly that installs in place of the compressor. If installed - same belt, same routing. Good luck.

you need to adjust the alternator belt, do adjustment a little bit tightening a bit. this will solve the problem. Or just change a new belt if the belt has crack.

How do i change a Timing Belt Tensioner on a 1995 jeep grand cherokee v8 5.2 my belt burned in 2 it and i need 2 take it off n replace it

You really need a repair manual for your model. Most Auto parts stores carry these. However, If your timing belt has been broken (burnt) while the vehicle was running, then you'll need to check for bent valves or cracked pistons. If you are not one, you may need a mechanic.

Replace belt

Hello,
I would advise you to ALWAYS to FIRST UNPLUG YOUR VACUUM before beginning any service procedure. The suggested belt change is every 4 to 6 months if the belt is a flat belt and to store the extra belts in a Ziploc bag in the refrigerator. As far as your question I would need more information about the brand name and model # to instruct you as per the belt change, other wise I don’t know how to instruct you as per the how to install the belt on your particular vacuum cleaner. Or, you can check with your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or to contact the manufacturer’s website and or phone #. So if you need further assistance, please feel free to contact your local vacuum cleaner dealer in your area or in the yellow pages, or contact the factory phone number or website to further assist you with your questions.

Thanks, Don the Vac Man
