Here's a alink to a Dell monitor document that explains how to lock/unlock the monitor.

If that doesn't help, I saw one solution where the guy opened the back of the monitor and sprayed the circuit board and switches with WD40 and claimed no more lock symbol, But I haven't tried that.

I have a Bosch HBN 1315.1 B. The child lock light is on and the oven won't work, but this model does not have a child lock button to press it off. How do I turn off the child lock?

Try one of these two recommendations. If there is a key symbol, press and hold for 4 seconds.

If no key symbol, cut the power to the unit and the child lock will stop working. (You are probably going to have to reset the clock, etc. )

Simcard/lock symbol displayed on my screen

I'm looking at the User Manual and I don't see any symbol like what you described. You can check out the manual for yourself by going to:
http://www.zteusa.com/media/wysiwyg/zte-valet/ZTE_Valet_User_Manual_English_-_PDF_-_3.08MB_.pdf
The symbols are listed on pages 14 and 15.

My bosch classixx6 1200 express keeps flashing the key/lock symbol and bleeps so I cant start a programme

The door is not locked properly or the door lock switch is not functioning. In the second case the door lock functioning can be checked by bypassing the door switch (for testing only). After bypassing the switch the program can start. If it succeeds replace the door lock switch.

Lock Symbol staying on

Hello, welcome to FixYa.

The Key symbol means the lock has been activated some how.

On most bosch of your class this is how you work it on & off.

Here`s how to deactivate it...

1) Press the "menu" button until you see "CHILD LOCK :ON" appear in the display. ( if nothing is pressed within 10 sec.following this the menu will close and it will default to program in the display )

2) Once you see what I just mentioned in the display press the "select" button until "CHILD LOCK :OFF" appears in the display.

3) Finally by pressing the "start/pause" button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly.

Thank you for visiting "fixya" for your washer solution inquiry.

good luck going forward.

There is a key symbol and I cannot start my next load

Hello and welcome to Fixya.

You`re likely right on about inadvertently locking out the controls. Your washer has a "child lock" program and I suspect that has been activated.

3) Finally by pressing the start/pause button the key symbol should disappear confirming you have successfully exited the child lock program.

If this indeed was the issue preventing you from operating the washer you should now be free to select any cycle and carry on.

Let me know if this was helpful to you or not, if so please take a second and rate it accordingly.

Thank you for visiting "fixya" for your washer solution inquiry.

good luck going forward.
