If you mean - that yu want to connect WIRELESSLY to the Internet , then yes you need a wireless "card" of some sort -- the easiest is a USB wifi "card" that they have on Ebay for real cheap

The CMOS battery that your machine uses is a standard battery similar to the one in most standard CASIO digital wrist-watches.You can get it from any electronics outlet near you, just tell them that you need a CMOS battery.

Please go to HP website-support&downloads-enter model of your computer-take&install what you need.

If no lgihts, sounds or anything at all, more than likely power supply.

Your battery is dead, replace it.

Remove the battery and plug laptop power into the wall (or power strip).
Turn ON laptop without battery.
It should start.
After Windows has settled, put battery back in and let it charge up.

They all use stereo plugs. Make sure you plug the speakers into the GREEN Hole. Also make sure that your speakers don't need any external power, also you might want to make sure you have the sound turned up too.

Not sure how long you have had the Desktop. However it will be one of two things. If it used to run quitely and now is making lots of noise then immediately take it to be replaced. Fans on power supplies cannot be fixed. If it should stop completely then the heat that builds up in your desktop could damage your components. Second, if it is fairly new and has always sounded that way then you are ok. Yes, there are some fans that are very loud, again you can have it replaced. They sell "quite fans" now that make no noise at all. But first and foremost if you start having problems like unusual reboots, lock ups, etc then your computer is getting overheated and the power supply which houses the fan needs to be replaced. Disconnect the AC adaptor, Take the battery out and press and hold the power button about 5 seconds. After that connect the AC adaptor and insert the battery turn it on. If issue persist please inform for further troubleshooting.
