I was washing beach towels and during the rinse/spin cycle the door popped open on my whirlpool duet ht (model GHW9400PL4). I haven't been able to close the door since it opened before the cycle was...

those have a 2 latch system, sounds like the second latch that engages during the spin cycle never quite completed the safety lock , you could try and jumper the latch to see if that would release it, But it seems the secondary latch wasn't working properly in the first place, even the heaviest loads shouldn't pop the door open,

I have a whirlpool duet ghw9100lw1... the washer will not finish the spin cycle of the load and now will not unlock even though it is off and all canceled out first- how do i open the door to get the heavy...

1. Remove the lower panel under the door by loosening the three screws under the bottom edge on the front of the washer. HINT: If you prop up the front feet of the washer with some small blocks of wood, this will make access to the screws much easier.
2. With the screws removed, the lower panel should drop down then come off. If the panel sticks, a light tap on either side will knock it loose.
3. Reach your hand up inside the washer behind the front casing on the right-hand side. This is where the door latch assembly is located.
4. At the bottom of the door latch assembly is a small pull tab. This is the manual release for the door. Pull the tab straight down and the door will come open.

Duet GHW9100LW1 the machine is leaking and not draining property what do i need and where can i find these parts

depending where the leak is,in the rear it could be the wash tub seal in which you need new seals and while its out replace the bearings,if its in the front, then either your door boot seal is torn or the drain "weep" hole is plugged by soap scum and mildew

Whirlpool Duet GHW9100LW1 fills up with power off

You have a faulty fill valve

If you want to check which one, try turning off the cold supply only before you go to bed

If the washer has water in it next morning it is the hot valve that has gone faulty if it is dry then it is the cold one

They are easy to change and can be bought from a number of suppliers

Washer door wont latch ghw9200lw duet

Pulling the door open during the wash cycle meant that it was pulled open with the latch in the locked position. The door cannot be opened in this manner while it is operating. If the door now does not latch, it has probably been damaged and needs to be replaced. The following link explains how to replace the door latch:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r587965-door_latch_replacement_fdl_error

A replacement latch can be purchased on line at appliancepartpros.com. Just type in your model number and look under Section 5, for item number 7. The door latch is listed as part number AP3837611.

If you have questions, please let me know. I hope this helps you.
