Question about Husqvarna Lawn Tractor 48" Deck, 23 Hp, Model# Yth2348
Started mower, it ran for 2 minutes, then wouldn't start again.
Checked fuel line, doesn't look like it is getting fuel to filter. Tank is half full, took off gas cap incase of vapor lock.
Is there a fuel pump? if so where is it located?
The fuel pump is almost never on the carb, if you follow the fuel line, you should see the pump with a small hose coming from the valve cover leading to the pump, to create the pumping vacuum. I'd say you should start from the pump back to see if fuel comes out, WITH the cap on. It's designed to run with the cap so if you remove it, it's kind of like using starter fluid, it doesn't make any sense.

Hi..my name is Keith and some mowers do have a fuel pump..if the fuel tank is lower than the carb...and they are operated by vacuum thats created in the crankcase and they are usually located on the carb...but i would check to see if some trash didnt stop up your fuel line..also..if you have old gas in it..a lawn mower engine doesnt or wont run on it..i hope this has helped..if not..write me back
