The motor that is in your unit that controls your heat has gone bad or is going bad. What you need to do is get that part replaced and then you will be just fine.

GE DPXH46GA6CC gas dryer makes large humming noise in heat cycles and burning smell

Two things are likely going on here,1- something is dragging down your motor check for a twist in the belt, idler pulley bad, belt installed wrong or wrong belt. Also check your front drum felt and glides if the felt is bunched up that will drag down the motor. Now the smell you probably have some felt or lint in the burner clean it carefully you do not want to damage your igniter.

Heater and aircon not working, loud rattling noise and smoke from vent, now not power to fan

It appears your fan itself burned out. When a field coil of an electrical fan burns out it usually makes a lot of smoke. The noise could be something that fell in there that stopped the fan from turning freely. I can imagine it heated up under the strain and burned out.

When you restarted it was burnt out so hence no noise and no fan.
The smell of the smoke should also be clue. Electrical field coils burning has an awful soury type of smell.

We were using the microwave the other night and it started making a loud noise like the fan was running (although the fan was not). We let it sit for awhile and try to use it again but the noise came...

The loud noise and no heat means that the magnetron has failed. It the part that generates the microwaves that heat the food. When it fails it shorts out, causing the transformer to heat up. That is what was causing the burning smell. The cost of a replacement magnetron is around $130-150 range so it may not make sense to have it fixed.

My Kenmore 721.626222 which I have had about 6 years, runs but does not heat. There is also a strange smell - something like a burning smell.

When the oven does not heat, the problem is usually due to the magnetron failing. It the part that generates the microwaves that heat the food. It fails by shorting out causing a loud buzzing noise. The burning smell is the being magnetron overloaded due to the short. It not worth fixing since the replacement cost of a magnetron is close to the price of a new oven. Sorry.

Something is moving around inside the vacuum (Dirt Devil Featherlite), sounds like plastic ou metal just rattling around and if left on too long it smell like burning. Can it be fixed?

if it smells like electrical burning or not like rubber then its probably your motor bearings making all the noise which means its not worth repairing.

Loud rattling noise and burning rubber smell

I'll bet the machine uses a belt drive, and the belt is probably worn, slipping, and chipped. The slipping makes it hot which makes the burning smell, and the rattling is the spring-loaded tensioner pulley banging against its limit because it hits the damaged part of the belt every time it comes around. Before you look anywhere for a new belt, take my advice and look in an autoparts store first. We went everywhere to find a belt for my friend's machine, which was expensive and would have to be ordered, then we got one at autozone for $5. You can probably just take off the front of the machine to open it but you might have to move or disconnect the motor from the machine to get the belt free.

1999 chevy blazer starts, but makes noise and no acceleration

Smoke coming out from the middle of the two rear tires right? Sound like your rear differential is out of lubricant. Leftover lubricant is probably getting burned by heat from the friction. Have your rear differential lubed up.
