Are vacuums supposed to blow out air through vent?

Every vacuum has an exhaust vent to release filtered air. If it didn't, and the motor was strong enough, pressure would build up inside until something let go, and we wouldn't want that to happen! In the old days, by the way, some vacuums had an attachment that let you use the exhaust vent as a blower to inflate toys etc.

Re:inflatable toys: I have an inflatable Easter Bunny that I inflated but one arm just will not inflate at all, how do I solve the problem so I can get his flat arm inflated? He is a 24 inch Easter Bu

I would hold it under water in a sink full of warm soapy water and try to put a cup of soapy water in it then squish around and try to get it in the arm. Dish soap warm water.

Need a new moter model SJD-B2 so we can fix our penquin snow globe. do you carry this so we can order one? 120 volt 60hz 0.442a 3130rpm

My Gemmy blower worked great for a Christmas inflatable. At season end, I packed it into it's bag and into the box. Next season, lights light, but blower won't spin. The motor sounds like it wants to go, but no spin.
I removed the blower base, opened the blower housing (the part where the air comes out. I dropped about a dozen drops of 3M household oil on the shaft , spun it a few times and let it set.
Three hours later, blower works just fine.
I suppose the trick is to oil the shaft before it gets packed away.

How to inflate the shake & monkey rattle ball?

Look for a plug on the plastic ball, it may be under the monkey fabric cover. Pull plug and blow air in just like inflating a small beach ball. Re-insert plug to seal.

When using an air pump to inflate a ball, where should you put the ''pin''--should you make a hole in the ball (where the plug is?) or should you just stick the pump into the plug?

wet the pin lightly with spit and insert pin into the small hole in the plug and inflate

when desired firmness achieved pull pin out

the ball will seal it self
