Try using the caller id feature to set the ringtone for that number only to *no ringtone*. (Menu> Settings & Tools> Sounds> Call Sounds> Call Ringtone> Caller ID) That way you don't need to call your provider, but you're also not bothered when that number calls. Alternately, you could use a FREE service like www.youmail.com to redirect the calls from *that* number to a prerecorded message like, "the number you've called is no longer in service." YouMail has a ton of 'em, and they sound real. Check it out.

Depends on the service provider. To block all numbers you have to be able to access the providers website. To block incoming you select the number from the recent calls and then go to the menu for that number and select block.
Hi, if the phone was registered then you can call your service provider and that will block the phone and it wont be able to be unblocked, if how ever you didnt register the phone with your service provider then all you can do is block the sim card by calling your service provider. blocking the sim card will stop them accessing your data that is stored onto the sim card.
now the only other way you can block it without having it registered is by having the phones imei number, now the only chance you have of getting this number is if you either registered the phone or if you have still got the box the phone came in as the phones imei number will be printed on a sticker on the box.
failing that all you can do is block the sim card,
call your service provider and see what they can do, if the sim card is still in the phone then they may be able to lock the phone using the sim, they can do this but it all depends on what network you was with, give the police a call as they can block it via imei number if you do have the number or if you dont the best bet would be to call service provider and get the sim card blocked.
let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok
please rate this solution as i have a whole page of unrated posts, thanks
If you meant to block you have to submit relevant documents with proof to the service provider and the cyber cell of the police department to block the phone using the imei number.
Once done it will not be able to log on to any networks.
Until now, it has been difficult, if not impossible, to block selected phone numbers from ringing your phone. Various features that are offered by some telephone service providers have provided limited relief, at a cost, but until the introduction of the Caller ID Manager, a total solution was not available. With the Caller ID Manager, you can easily block phone numbers and anonymous callers without added monthly fees. You can now block phone calls from any number that you choose, including local, long distance, international and cell phone callers. A 'Wildcard' feature is included for those who wish to block calls from entire area codes, prefixes, or number sets. You also have the option to block phone calls during specified hours, either on a one-time or daily basis, using the built-in scheduler.
This work can only be done by the Service Provider. Tell them to Block a phone no. they will enable a feature known as Black List. The No.s in the Black list can never contact you via that no. unless you unblock the no. in future.
Thank you Sir, Have a nice day.
