Question about Refrigerators
We checked the wire connections that run through the freezer door, along with the water line, under the fridge. we found that the white wire was badly corroded and not making contact with other connections in the terminal. we clipped the 3 pin wire harnesses from each end, and stripped the ends of the wires. we reconnected blue-blue, white-red, and black-black, using sodder. we then insulated each connection with electrical tape, and used electrical tape to shield the unit from the water line. it worked! i don't think that either the motherboard or display control panel were defective to begin with, but we just left the new ones in place.
