Question about Frigidaire ATF6000ES Front Load Washer
The washing machine will not operate when I start a cycle. When pressing the start+cancel buttons, I get error code E57. Other posts showed it means "E57 High current on inverter. Refer to test (9)"
What is "test (9)", and how do I solve this problem?

I had the same problem with my Frigidaire Affinity front load washer. It would go through the wash cycle but would not do the final spin cycle that takes the access water out of the clothes. It would actually cut off when it got to be 6 minutes left. I checked the hoses, belt, motor and pump but all were functioning properly. I even cleaned out the filter thats located in front of the water pump. It was full of coins and other debris but it still didnt fix the problem. I called the repairman and he concluded that the control board was bad and would have to be relaced. The board is $200 and labor $140. It will cost you $340 dollars to correct this problem unless you know how to replace the control board yourself. Only had the washer for 3 years. I wouldnt expect something like that to occur within that short period of time.

SOURCE: I have a Frigidaire ATF6000ESO
E10 means that your cold water is coming in too slow, disconnect the cold water hose and check to see if the screen on your washing machine is clogged. If the screen is clean and the hose has good pressure then you will need to replace the water valve on your machine--- this is the piece that the hoses directly connect to.
Often the cause of this error is that no cold water is getting through the cold water valve (inside the machine). OK, there may be a loose wire to the valve, the valve may be stuck, or faulty. It may be able to be freed up if stuck, but it's simpler and easier to just replace it with a new one.
