These sprayers get rust in spray handle, they taking apart and lubing sprayer. If you leave chemicals in tank you will ruin the spray handle.

It could be in the handle, there is a screen in the handle right before the trigger. Unscrew it clean screen out. Take trigger apart clean oring with soap. Dish detergent. and clean tip. While valve off pump it up see if water comes out of handle. if not then unscrew where hose is hooked into tank, It has a pick up tube going down to bottom. It could be stopped up. After you get everything cleaned up u can us vegitable oil to lube orings and valve. And pump. Just as long as you put little soap with it so it start breaking down.

The only "easy fix" may be a stuck float switch. First make sure the outlet where the pump is plugged in works. Plug something into the outlet such as a work light to confirm the outlet is live. The float switch may be stuck in the OFF position. Giggle the float arm up and down several times to see if the pump comes on.> You can spry wd40 into the switch where the arm enters. If this does not work, the pump probably needs servicing.

Wiring

the trigger activates a switch that activates the solenoid. You can test the solenoid with leads it will click if it is working with 110v leads. Warning the pump is not 110v is is 12v it has a rectifier in the machine.

Starts when you spry starter fluid runs till fluid gone pump does run

Well you've got it narrowed do to a fuel issue. And you can hear the fuel pump running? Now I guess you just got to figure how far the fuel is getting. I'd recommend checking the fuel pressure on the fuel lines. On the motor, above the injectors is the fuel rail. Somewhere on it, there is a little valve. Turn the key forward to activate the pump, and check your fuel pressure here. It should spray out hard if you press the inner valve stem for a second. If the fuel does not have good pressure here, then you likely have a bad fuel pressure regulator, a clogged fuel filter, or a weak pump. If the fuel pressure here is good, then you should be looking at the injectors. You can use a long screwdriver, or better yet a mechanics stethoscope (available at harbor freight tools for like $5) to listen to the injectors. There should have a steady series of clicks within as they open and close as designed. Any sound outside the steady clicks or no clicks at all designate a poorly operating injectors.

Good Luck, FixYa will be here to help with the next step, should you need it, come on back....

Pull cord wont pull

ok i assume it is a gas powered pressure washer, if the pull rope wont pull out at all you either have a locked up motor or pump if it is out and wont go back in or recoil then the spring under the engine cover has either broke or come unwound.also if it wont pull out do youhave water applied to pump? if so turn off water and disconnect water hose to relieve pressure and try to pull it then then if it starts then apply water.

Sounds like it's going to start but doesn't finish then it finally did start. what is it

It sounds like you may have a weak fuel pressure. Check the fuel pressure at the shredder valve, there should be 62-65PSI with the ignition on the on position and should drop about 5psi when the engine is running. If your fuel pressure is less then 62 PSI, the fuel injectors will not function. To test this is to spry Carb cleaner in through the top of the throttle body and if the engine starts, then you have a weak fuel pump.
Start with the simple and replace the fuel filter and check the ground wire to the fuel pump on the frame of the Blazer.
If you do have a bad fuel pump "sending Unit", your going to have to drop the gas tank to replace the unit. Good luck and keep me posted, be glad to know your Blazer is running 100% again soon.

need to check fuel pressure when it wont start if you don't have any check for 12 volts and a ground at fuel pump if you do have pressure need to check for pulse signal at fuel injectors

1997 , wont crank

if starter will engage and engine can turn over quickly it should start.

however.. i dont know how you are verifying it has fuel as its a high-pressure FI system.

these systems by GM are VERY finicky and unless within spec precisely it will NOT run. i suspect fuel pump is putting out less than 57# which is min for these.

fuel pump known failure part. if replaced you MUST also replace wire harness at tank as they usually fail internally w/melted wires you cant see through wire sheath. low voltage will KILL the new pump.

also you didnt note engine size and family...
