I have a connex cx hp 3300, that when I turn the radio on it starts scanning and will not stop.
Your keyboard membrane is needing cleaned with IPA you must have spilled coke or pepsi or somthing conductive on its membrane so i would just look to replace it you need to perhaps replace some capacitors in the controller board section {mpu for it} i think dry caps cause this esp low value ones around the mpu

The best way to set it is to get you a radio check, go to channel 19 and ask someone about three to five miles away to give you a radio check, start with your modulation all the way open and go from there.....hope this was helpful...

Hi, my name is John. Try a external speaker, plug it in the back of radio, turn the RF GAIN to MAX. Turn the SQUELCH all the way to left, make sure the select knob is on CB, and on AM...try all this and if that's does not do it, let me know, I will post other steps here,.... hope this was very helpful....

My experience with this problem is a cracked board. A decent tech can find it and fix the problem. Thats 1 another is a bad pll chip.
