Apparently, the watch serial number is printed on the watch packaging. You may not have kept that. Or, you may not have purchased the watch from an authorized dealer.
If you find you need the watch serial number to register your purchased watch, it may be located inside the watch battery compartment.

Visit a jewelry store and ask one of the store employees to open the watch back and look in the battery compartment for a number.
It will be located on the motherboard. Every brand is different, and the location will vary, but when you look at the motherboard, you should see a round watch battery. That is the system battery that will power the bios ans system clock.
To reset the battery you need to locate the "AC" inside your watch. The AC terminal is a little metal spot (usually a circle and usually gold colored) on the inside of your watch. Looking at the inside of your watch the "AC" should be labeled, though it may take a magnifier to identify it. It may be labeled simply "AC" or it may have an arrow pointing to it. Once you locate it use a pair of tweezer or a paper clip and touch the battery and the AC together for a few seconds and release; you may have to do this twice. This will reset your watch an give you the ability to correctly wet your watch.
The battery model number that needs to be replaced should be located on the outside of the back side of the wrist watch and if not you can always open the watch up and look and see what model number is on the gbattery itself. If the battery is not the problem then you may need to take your watch in and have a professional person to look at it. Hope this helps you.
Take a look at the plug on the end of the lead which comes from the charger then see if you can see a corresponding socket somewhere on the watch. You may have to remove a small plastic or rubber cover to find it or it may be behind a small door. It's got to fit somewhere, just keep looking.
