I discovered that I there was yet one more screw hiding under the little sticker near the antenna. Got that off, took the screw out, took the antenna off and the whole back came off fairly easily. The dead ringer (couldn't resist) was in the back casing. It's has a sticky backing so I pried that out, put the other one in and closed everything back up. Much to my delight, after having no sound from my phone for 18 months, I now have my ringer working again. And I saved myself $200!
