What kind of computer do you have, who made it, if it hp, or dell or a factory made like them, you need their part number, go their web site. If not, go to this link and install then run belarc advisor, it will tell you make and model of your motherboard

Does anybody have the specs for the Dell 03C6YH motherboard please

Michael Bowry,
I will need to know which computer system you have in order to view the specs of the motherboard. My database does not provide that information. I can only see the specs of the motherboard only with the system model.
Thank You,

Required Intel SL9CB Pentium, 3 GHz compatible motherboard

Pentium 4 HT, Model 531. sSpec number SL9CB.

OK. So far I know you need a motherboard that has an LGA 775 processor socket; needs to support Intel processors that are Single-Core, and with an 800MegaHertz Front Side Bus.
(800MHz FSB)

Ram Memory? Dunno. K
Do know the rule of thumb is, that the Ram Memory typically operates at Half of the processor's FSB.
Therefore can only assume the ram memory is DDR Sdram, and operates at 400MHz. (PC-3200)

You haven't stated the motherboard chipset that was used, OR what computer manufacturer, and model number; this mobo came out of.

Also didn't state if you are using a graphics card, and what kind it is.
(PCI, AGP, or PCI Express)

This isn't a 'guess-ti-mate'. Exact specifications are required in order to replace the motherboard.
Otherwise you may not be able to reuse the Ram Memory, or graphics card. (IF used)

Awaiting needed information. Post back in a Comment.

How can I find the part number for an HP laptop motherboard without opening the computer itself? the motherboard needs to be replaced and we need to order the part online.

You can not know the motherboard serial number it-self without opening the computer... But you have your product ID and computer serial number on the back of the laptop. That should give you, at the HP Support web-page, the drivers list for your specific built. Knowing the driver, you can know what chip-set it's holding, and so, the motherboard also.

Need replacement motherboard for Dell E1705 9300 -

on another computer, go to, click on home user, and input your service tag from the E1705. It can give you driver updates/downloads (among other things) and an option to see how the computer was configured when it was originally shipped. There is an option to "click to chat" with a live agent - they can help you with the replacement parts for your system. Your other option is to tear the unti apart and get the mfg make/model number and contact them directly for retailers.

All motherboards generally have a common way of connecting to the rest of the computer. Unfortunately, without knowing the specific details of your motherboard it is impossible to give directions on how to set it up.

In order to solve your problem you will need the manufacturer's installation manual. This can be done by doing a search for the manufacturer and model number (usually printed on the motherboard itself). Then go to the manufacturers website and you can find the manuals that correspond to the motherboard you are trying to set up.

My computer restart again and again and hanging problem also and after restarting my monitor screen going on blue .

I know exactly what your problem is. Your computer is not going through the POST because it sounds like the RAM for your computer has went out and died. You need to find out what kind of RAM your computer has and write it down. That is why you get the blue screen of death cause your RAM is faulty and needs to be replaced in order to initialize POST and boot into your operating system so that you can use your PC. If you need further help don't hesitate to ask. Thanks!

My computer won't come on.

Lilyoungun8, you need to be a little more specific; Check these:

1. Is the power from the mains turned on?
2. Turn it off from the wall socket and push the power cable back in, it may be loose. Then try turning it on again.
3. Hopefully it is none of the below, but if none of the aboe 2 things work, it may be one of these in increasing order of importance:
3.a. Your power cable is faulty - you will need to replace it
3.b. Your PC power supply is shot - you will need to replace it
3.c. Your motherboard has died - you will either need to replace it or buy a new PC altogether.

Do let us know...

System is being hang at any moment even in bios screen. I have changed RAM also. But the same problems is occurring. what should i do ?

It seems that your motherboard is totaled. You are going to need to replace it. If you have a pre-built computer then the motherboards are proprietary and you will need to get one from the computer distributer. If you have a custom build PC then you can just order a new one off a website like If you buy a new motherboard you may also have to buy a new processor that is compatible with it. If you know what type of processor you already have then you can buy a motherboard that will support it.
