Question about RCA R52WM24 52" HDTV Projection Television
You television is having problems with intermittent component failure. The reason the television turns off and on is the protection circuit turns on when it senses high voltage or current level that may damage the internal circuits. The protection circuit turn the television off, the television will stay in this condition until the faulty component or components temporarily stabilize. When this happens the television attempts to turn itself on again. Once the component or components heats up it loses tolerances and again triggers the protection circuit to turn the television off. This is a problem that should be fully tested and evaluated by a certified service center.
