What can i do if the middle of the game disc cracks

The game may be unreadable and no longer playable. There is somthing you can try thou. After you put in the game, select the "Install to hard drive" option <-- HowTo
after you install the game to your hard drive it may work due to the fact that the game CD is only needed to validate the game. If you can't install the game to your hard drive, see if a friend will load you the game to install onto your own hard drive then use your broken disc to "validate" the game running.

Hi my name is chris and I have a game that I bought last year and i am 11 years old. when i got this there was no scratches but when my family was moving and i was at school at that time my brothers were...

It is possible that your game is scratched up enough that you can't play it directly on your xbox 360... BUT you might still be able to play it is you can save it to your Xbox 360 hard drive. You might need to try it a few times to get it to read and work but try following these instructions for installing the game from your CD directly onto your Hard drive. You will still need to have the CD in your Xbox 360 to play but it will be reading from your hard drive if you can install it. Good luck:

How to get the pc games to the removable disc(J) sandisk. Can not Move them to Flashdrive disc.

It is not completely clear if you mean large PC games or if you mean small PC games.

By small PC games I mean games similar to the games that come with Windows and that appear in the 'All Programs -> Games' folder. Such as 'Free Cell', 'Hearts' or 'Solitaire'.

By large games I mean games like 'World of Warcraft' or 'Mortal Combat'.

Also, do you want to install the games on your Flashdrive or store them there?

If you want to store a large game on your flash drive. Place the CD/DVD with the game on it in your CD/DVD drive and insert your Flashdrive in a USB port.

Open 'WIndows Explorer' or 'My Computer'. Locate the CD/DVD drive that you inserted the game disk in (most likely your D: drive).

In the 'Edit' menu select 'Select All' and then in the 'Edit' menu select 'Copy'.

Then locate the Flashdrive in 'WIndows Explorer' or 'My Computer'. And in the 'Edit' menu select 'Paste'.

While this will copy the files from your game's CD/DVD disk to your Flashdrive you may or may not be able to install the game from your Flashdrive.

You can use this same procedure to copy small games to your Flashdrive from your Hard Drive.
You will need to know where on your hard drive they are located. And they may or may not run from your Flashdrive.

Also you may be able to install and run games from your Flashdrive, When you run the Setup program from you game disk you will usually be given the option to select a alternative location to install the game.
Select your Flashdrive at that point and it may install correctly to your Flashdrive. If it does you should be careful to always use the same USB port or the game won't run.

Hope that helps.

1: No you won't
2: No you won't

Installing on the hard drive is just supposed to make the game run a bit smoother as the console has less steps to take to reach information (rather then processor to hard drive to CD-Rom, involving 3 steps, it's Processor to Hard Drive) This will provide a smoother gaming experience for you, without sacrificing game saves or other game information.

Whats the point in installing a game to the hard drive ? what does it do exactly ? Many thanks L Prudden

Installing the game on the hard drive reduces the latency from the CD/DVD Rom reading to the processor.

If you install it to the hard drive, the game will play and load faster since it's already on the drive.

From the disc drive, it's got to go to the hard drive and to the memory and to the processor and back out to the user. That and hard drives generally run a lot faster than a DVD drive.

I have games downloaded on my pc that I got from free game sites. They are legal games that are free because they are sponsored. I would like to take them off of my hard drive and put them on cds to free...

Only if they are designed to be run from CD. Most games are "installed" onto your hard drive and put files all over the drive, not just in their game folder. So copying them from their game folder to a CD may lose support files needed to play. Easiest way to try this out...copy the files to the CD, then delete the files from the hard drive. Then try to play the game. If it won't play, copy the files back to where they were on the hard drive.

Playing cd and video game at the same time

Well... Unless you have a mod chip, and a hard drive installed into your ps2, that's not even in the slightest bit possible, unless you have a boombox or something sitting next to you. With the mod chip and hard drive, I guess, in theory, you could be playing a game from the hard drive, while playing an audio disk from the disk drive... but not on an unaltered machine.

New p c game will not launch

If you installed from CD - Have you tried it with the CD in? Many games do not install completely to the hard drive and require the CD to run. If you downloaded it from another source, try installing it again.
