My computer does not have a cd drive but i have a cd key code what can i do its for the game capture

If the game is already installed, then you can add the key when you start the game. A menu will usually show up to put it in when you begin. If you haven't already installed it, you can add an internal CD drive inside your computer. Or if you don't need one permanently, you can get an external CD/DVD drive that plugs into your USB port. You won't be able to use the game without the key.

How to install os in usb hard disk

First plug your external hard drive "disk" into your computer using your USB cable. Then insert your CD/DVD in your CD/DVD Drive "D, or E, or F" that are define in your system and turn off your computer and On your System "computer". Then boot form the installation disk. Begin the installation so that the hard drive will install the operating system. Then accept the license terms and conditions. Then choose your destination drive."By default, the C: will represent your main hard drive and the D: will usually represent your CD/DVD drive. So your external hard drive will be the E: or F: drive. "And you will now able to run that operating system."
N.B: "You will be able to run your external hard drive as a fully functional operating system. If your primary hard drive ever crashes, you will have a backup option unavailable to those who simply use their external hard drives as file and document backup."

CD Disk Drive E doesn't want to open

Right click on "My Computer" and press "Device Manager". See if your CD drive appears in there. If it does, delete it and re-boot. The PC should find the CD as a new device and re-install standard drivers for it. Hope this helps. Ian.

How do i format my drive c

Do you have the cd for either vista, xp or the operating system you intend to put on the drive, and is your pc setup to read the cd drive first? Either way insert the cd if your drive does not have a OS on it already then the cd shouls automatically run, if it already has an OS on it then you will have to boot from cd first,
turn on the pc hit delete on the keyboard a menu will pop up
use your arrow keys go to advanced BIOS features go down to where it says first boot device hit enter choose cdrom then go to the second and change that to hard drive
then hit f10 on the keyboard and the type y for yes to save then exit the screen
When the pc starts to boot up again it will show the cdrom booting up first hit any key to boot from the device will show up also tap a key on the keyboard and it will start running from the cd, follow the instructions on the screen when they come up and go from there,

Now if you are unable to get into the BIOS screen but you already have an OS on the pc then insert the cd in the pc and go to my computer and open the cd or let it automatically start up if you just inserted the cd. Then when it prompts you to choose to format.
