Question about Apple iPod MA446LL/A MP3 Player
The battery DOES NOT have to do anything with files. I guess there IS something wrong in the internal of the device. You can change the battery, but it will have no effect. The best thing you can do, is check your settings, check the FORMAT of the songs 'cuz some devices play songs and disappear due to unsupported format (almost like your case) and go have it a look. good luck and hope this helped!
