Hi,

Ive put some steps below for you to try to get your phone back and working, hopefully.

1 - Ensure that your computer is switched on with the most recent update of itunes installed & an internet connection
2 - Hold down the home button on the phone and keep held down whilst connecting to computer ( home button is the button on the front of your phone)
3 - Keep the button held down and keep your eye on itunes until a message appears saying that an iphone has been detected in recovery mode and will need to be restored agree with this message and then you will receive a summary page of the phone with the options of update or restore buttons (when message appears release button, you will use your comp to do everything now so literally just push the phone away and dont touch any buttons etc)

4 - Select Restore option.
5 - If prompted to create a back up (see image below) select the back up option.gogo88.jpg
6 - Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone)

gogo88_0.jpg
7 - The Restore process can take quite a while but once completed the phone will restart showing the apple logo and itunes will display the below message - either ok or leave for it to go off itself.
gogo88_1.jpg
8 - The iphone will be finalising its restore so leave the phone connected.
9 - Once the restore has finished you will receive an option to either restore your iphone as new or from a previous back up. ** If you choose to restore your iphone as new ALL content you have added to the phone will be deleted. If you restore from a backup the majority of your content will go back on the phone.

If these steps DONT work then it looks like it could be a hardware issue within your phone. If its still within your 1year from purchase give Apple a ring your still within your hardware warrenty! But if you ring them make sure you try restoring your phone from new before you call as it could also be software issues & when you do speak with Apple make sure you tell the what steps you have tried so you dont have to go through it all again.

My iphone looking white at the screen,i try turn off and on again but still same thing.i don't what to do now.can i format again my iphone

Hi,

firstly ensure comp on and you got latest itunes, then turn your phone off and then hold down the power button whilst plugging into itunes and when itunes appears with a message saying phone been detected in recovery release the button and continue through itunes to restore your iphone as new.

You will need to restore your iphone as new to see it it software or hardware on the phone and if your phone is less than a year old your still in your warrenty with apple, who, if it turns out to be hardware fault, will fix it for you.

Ive popped a link below on how to restore your iphone if you get stuck

Hope this helps! Please leave feedback/comments

IPhone 2g will not boot to Apple logo or turn on.

Hi

Have you tried holding the power button and the home button on the front for around 10secs?

Try this, the Apple logo should appear and get the phone to boot up.

If that doesnt work, boot up your computer and make sure you have the most recent version of itunes on it and then hold down the home button on the front of the phone while plugging into your computer and keep holding down the home button until you get a message on itunes saying an iphone has been detected in recovery mode. Then release the button and restore your iphone as a new iphone

**** Because your phone wont power on and it has been restarted this way you need to restore as a new iphone to get it to work again meaning you will loose any info on the phone ****

Make sure you update your phones software its most likely a factor to your phone shutting itself down.

Ive put the details below on how to restore your iphone, while restoring it will automatically update it for you - (after holding the home button and receiving the message on itunes follow the restore info)

Hope this helps :0) - Please Leave Me Feedback

Hi..have you tried your SIM in a different phone and does it work?? If not then its most likely the network with the issue not the phone but if the SIM does work in another phone all i can suggest really is to try restore your phone from a back up from before you started having trouble with it...so say you have a back up from 3 days before you had the issue then restore from that...restoring from a back up will prevent you loosing all your iphone data.. if that doesnt work im afraid you'll have to restore your phone as new to wipe it and basically start fresh..

Hope it helps!!

Use the following steps to restore your device: before doing this please make sure you have your comp powered up and an updated version of itunes on it.
  1. Power down your phone and holding down your home button for around 6secs, connect to your comp still holding the button until you receive a message on itunes saying an iphone has been detected in recovery mode, then continue to restore your iPhone.

Hi,

your phone has gone into recovery mode, you need to connect it up to your comp with itunes loaded up, make sure your itunes is the most recent update.

itunes will then appear with a message saying that it has detected an iphone in recovery mode and that you need to restore so carry on with the restoration of the phone.

below is a step by step on how to restore your phone but on the last steps you need to make sure you restore the iphone as a new iphone. Once you have gone through all that it will basically go through the setup of it and the activation of the phone, Hope this helps!
