How can i avoid label sheets getting stuck in phaser 8560

1. Make sure you are feeding the labels from the bypass tray, not from the cassette.-
2. Make sure the labels are for Laser printers, not Inkjet printers.
3. Do not try and re-use a label sheet that only was half printed on.
4. When you put the labels in the bypass tray, set the paper type to labels...this slows down the print process so they won't get jammed.

Label is printed fine but each printed label print blank line before label print

To isolate problem run a test label from printer.Does the same thing happen? If so it is a printer problem. If not the problem is in the document itself.

When I print labels the sheet is smudged using Dell 3110cn.

Due to the thickness of label stock it can take more heat to fuse the toner than when you use normal paper.

1 You MUST use labels that are suitable for laser printers.

2 When printing on labels, you'll probably put them (face down) in the MPF 'tray' in the door, and make sure you choose Label as your paper type under Printing Preferences, Paper Tray, MPF Settings

How to print adhisive labels using mfc 7340

Buy laser-specific adhesive labels. Those that say "Laser printer compatible". If you have an inkjet printer, print the labels with it, with the laser is more risky because of the temperature the paper needs to get in the printing process. If one label gets out of the support paper or the paper gets sticky inside the printer, it will cause a real mess.
Try inkjet first, or buy high-quality labels and print one full sheet at a time, not label by label.

I often print individual labels, but not all at one time. As I continue to use the label sheet for additional entries the labels get grey looking. Is there a better way to do labels on the WorkCentre 7328?

It is not advisable to run labels in laser equipment without all of the labels on the sheet. The grey looking labels are due to a small amount of backround or build up put on all documents that run through a laser printing machine. Run it through once and you shouldn't be able to notice it, but run the same sheet through multiple times, and eventually you will be able to see the buildup, especially on thick paper such as label paper. What I would suggest is to pickup a cheap inkjet from walmart, and use it for only labels. They are more expensive to run, but with your low volume of useage you probably won't notice it. This will allow you to use labels 1 at a time, and if a label comes off in the printing process, it is much easier to find and remove then it is in a larger laser unit.

Xerox 6280 - need to print labels on a sheet of 30 labels

Shouldn't be a problem, provided you use labels that are intended for a laser printer. Inkjet labels can wreck your laser printer (inkjet labels can't cope with the heat of the fuser in a laser printer).

Use the right template in your Wordprocessor package for the labels you are using (or create a custom label layout in your Word processor).

Use the Multi Purpose Feeder input tray (fold down from the front door), put the labesl face down, print (making sure that you tell the printer to use Labels and the MPF. It's important to tell the printer that you are using labels, as these are thicker, and need more heat from the fuser (especially if you are printing several sheets of labels, as this cools the fuser a little)

You've probably tried this, but I did have success today with Avery 8160 labels. I had been using 5260 labels. There is a difference at the top of the page in the way the backing lines up with the labels.
