Question about Toshiba CF36G55 36" TV
How do you adjust the vertical size and position on a 36" Toshiba CF36G55? Does this set have a setup menu accessible from the remote? Two other sets in this series are the CF27G50 and CF32G50. It's a great set and aside from a small cold solder joint problem and bad buttons on the remote it has performed fantastically. My local TV repair shop even said it was a great set.

I think you have a vertical problem. Turn up screen voltage to see if there is a tin horizontal line across screen. If so replace vertical output IC and the 100uf/35v capacitor in the vertical circuit.

If it is a vertical line, change the horizontal output transistor + capacitors. If it is a horizontal line, replace vertical output transistor + capacitors. Both cost around $10-20.
