Question about Sony Playstation 3 (PS3) Console
A few weeks ago in the middle of playing Resistance 2, I first noticed the problem. I had reached a point in the game where it was saving, and simultaneously I was killed. After that, the game wouldn't load.
Subsequently after that, all games we have been playing on the PS3-system have been "sticking" in after a while of playing.
The screen won't go black, rather the character will just stick in midair, or keep running in one direction. While this happens, a clicking noise can be heard from the disc reader.
I have tried restoring the system.
I have also tried the options in the recovery meny.
One thing I have noticed is that even though I have performed a full system restore, it keeps the new firmware, is it supposed to do that?
Do you know of any way of solving this problem?
a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: Video goes Balck with some games
Offhand, have you tried another souce for the video or connecting the ps3 another way to the television?
Is your ps3 covered by warranty, this seems like a possible hardware problem. But first have you tried updating your ps3 internal software to the latest available?
Please check these things first and let mek now.

You can't download games unless you have custom firmware some custom firmware have viruses and i don't reccomend you trying to get games because they might crash your computer and it's hard to put games on it because most of the time it says corrupted data
