i have a hoover carpet cleaner with the 6 brushes and they have stopped turning i have cleaned the little screen and still no results what may be the problem

i found a copy of the manual on the inter net and was looking through it and it told me how to takemy brush assembly out, so i did that and replaced my brush assembly. it was really easy and only cost 25.00. thanks for the help
