Question about JVC TH-M505 System
The power will not stay on. the back smells like something is burning.
Make sure your red speaker leads are not touching the case or the black leads. Check to see if anything metal fell into the unit through the vent like a staple or piece of wire. Pick it up side down and shake it. It is possible for a foreign body to get "welded" on a short so take the case off and do a visual inspection. Look for burned components. Unless you are electrically savvy, this would be a good time to take it to a repair tech or a friend. Good luck ;)
