Question about Panasonic VDR-M53 DVD Camcorder
My Panasonic VDR-M53 does not have a way to hook up to my PC via a USB cable. The only connection on the camera is an av/s port on the front of the camcorder. The cable that came with the camera connects to the camcorder and then has RCA commectors on the other end so that the camcorder can be connected to a TV or DVD player. There is no cable that allows the camcorder to connect to the PC. HELP!!!!
I've got tons of videos that I want to transfer to my new iMAC for editing and saving.
The VDR-M53 model does not have a firewire port behind the "gray"door ...only an AV hookup

If you will look at the front of the camera (where the lens is), you will see a gray door that opens. If you will look in there you will find: USB port, AV outlet and external microphone jack.
Hope that help you out...
