Question about Uniden DXAI4288-2 Cordless Phone
I can make calls on my extra handset but not answer. I switched the two phones and it works fine on the base, but then the other phone didn't work on the charger. These are relatively new phones and it was working up until a few weeks ago. The charger is plugged in and light is lit but not blinking. Do I need a new charger, a new battery? Thank you for any help.

This sounds like the register-deregister problem elsewhere on this page. Try holding down the "end" and "#" buttons for about 6 seconds to deregister the phones and then reregister them. I had this problem too and it worked for me.

I was using this site while trouble shooting this in the US...
If the customer has DSL with filters in the same system go back to the NID and Isolate the DSL,
test the caller id and call waiting caller id. If this works you have Data Bleed coming from the DSL.
Make sure there are not two sets of filters on the line. Tjis customer had a filter with the DSL modem.
Doing this we just fixed an on going problem for a field tech who was the second callout on a customer issue.
