Question about JBL Eon15P-1 Main / Stereo Speaker
One cone blew and damaged an amp in a JBL EON15P-1 after twenty minutes of a un-amplified desk being plugged in to an xlr input on JBL from a mixing desk standard channel output. A loud blurry noise emerged. The desk is being blamed but the master and other volumes were down....why would only one channel go? trying to get to the bottom of this. The system was set up on a summers eve fifty foot from a house, in a gazebo. There was a lot of static shocks off mics that night......desk has subsequently worked perfectly.
