Question about Metz mecablitz 45 CL-4 TTL Flash

1 Answer

I also need a service manual for the mets cl4

The flash works , but there was a smell of burnt electronics I opened her up and an electronics piece unknown seems to have overheated badly.the flash still works but I need the service manual to see if the piece needs/can be replaced & to know what caused it to overheat. I was using a quantum turbo so my stupidity is probably the root cause.......

The piece that is burnt had a plastic protecion around it & seems to be the second to last electrical component before the connecion to the actual light bulb

My Dodge stratus gives me codes p1784 what is it and how do I fix it.

First and foremost, smell the fluid, if the fluid is burnt smelling so is the transmission, you need a new one. If the fluid is lightly varnished smell, the code is for the solenoid pack. Replace this part it has the electronic pieces which are causing the code. I would smell the fluid and have a reputably shop scan the system before you replaced any parts.

Good Luck

A friend gave me a PN43E450A1F. They told me that it was hit by lightning. The TV is dead except when it is plugged in you see a quick flash of backlight with no images. Is there any hope for it?

Nobody can predict what might have been happened due to a lightning strike to any electronic equipment. Normally you can't detect a fauty capacitor by its burning smell. In this case of yours, it will be best to contact any service technician, to troubleshoot. If you wish to get some details, try the site linked here.

This, most likely, will not help you. If it is stuck and you smell something burnt I think your camera has serious problems. I think this is the time to decide REPAIR or REPLACE.

Its common for coins left in pockets to dislodge from the clothing. Most times you see them in the drum. On rare occasion they can get into places that could damage dryer. However since there is a burning smell it is not something to guess about. Being that it is less than a year old it should be warrantied, if it is not a mal-funtion you would still want to fix it. Call Lowes and set up a service call

My Orange amp recently stopped working, as in no sound

The pilot light means NOTHING other than the switch is on and unit is getting power from a receptacle.

There is an electronic failure that requires servicing and until unit is opened and analyzed we can''t help you further. Take it to a shop or a person experienced in electronic repair.

Kia sedona automatic transmission gearbox

To fill the transmission fluid, you need a funnel that fits into the dipstick tube, add fluid there. If the fluid is black and smells burnt, that's bad. I would have the fluid changed. These transmissions don't have a filter, probally a bad idea.

Heard a loud pop...saw a bright flash...burnt smelled and dryer stopped working. Circuit breaker will not re-set.

You may have a wire that has come loose of it's restraints and is rubbing on the drum as it turns. This would cause the wire's insulation to wear off, and if it's an electric dryer, you're dealing with 220volt wiring. The spark and burning smell is similar to arc welding.
You'll need to open the dryer up and find the damaged wire and reinsulate it with electrical tape or heat-shrink wrap.
It should be easily visible ...look for the burnt, blackened marks..
