Downgraded the OS to WinXP SP2, Installed all the drivers downloaded from Sony Asia. All drivers installed properly, except an error during the installation of Audio.EXE. Repeated several times to install the driver but to no avail.
Reformatted the HD, suspecting of some malware, this time in Dual-Boot Vista/XP SP2 configuration, All the drivers work in Vista but the same problem occurs in XP which is the Sound. I prefer XP than Vista and I really need the sound to function, please help!

- Well, thanks for all those who tried to help and suggest concerning the audio problem in my Vaio VGN-SZ79MN but unfortunately it didn't solve my problems. Out of desperation, I tried to dig more and one suggestion I step-into was to install the Microsoft UAA Bus Driver for High Definition Audio before installing the Audio.EXE and Modem.EXE which I downloaded from Sony Asia. Restarted the computer and it did work (don't know if it will work with you but it did work for me)
