All the buttons are lit on

As soon as i connect the phone all the lights on the buttons turn on orange and nothing is displayed on the screen. Phone doesnt have a dial tone or anything.

Do you have another 5312 on your network? If so swap it out and see if it is the phone or configuration

    Everyone if our office has the 5312. I have tested different phones on the same port and they all work. Changed the cables as well and that hasnt made any difference. I have tried connecting the faulty phone to another working port with a working cable and i get the same problem. all the lights (except the top right light thats usually for voicemail indicator) are on constantly. They are not blinking or anything. I left the phone off for 24 hours and tried again. Still the same problem.

You have a feature active on your phone it's more than likely a call forward feature which would redirect you calls. The broken dial tone or stutter dial tone is an indicator a feature is active. Contact you system admin for the clear all feature code and the clear all call forwarding codes.

The network isn't configured properly for your phone to boot up. You should contact your phone vendor or system administrator for support.

Are you referring to the Mitel Cordless handset or headset? The handset and headset must be paired to the module on the back of the phone. Press and hold the button until the display indicates pairing. Then press the Answer button on the handset or headset.

Screen is Black, Nothing shows.

Hello,

If the phone button still lit or if the phone still power on but black screen, then, the problem with your phone is just flex problem, the flex on the screen of your phone is weak or worn out, this is a common problem among slide or flip phone.

What you need to do is to replace the flex on the screen of your phone, you can get this done by going to any local phone repairer within your vicinity to help get it fix or replace.

Once the flex is replace, your phone display problem is solve and the screen will start displaying.

Hi, it is the flex of the phone that connects the screen board to the main board that make the screen display is faulty and it needs to be replaced with another flex.

After changing the flex, it will work perfectly again.

But sometimes you might still change the flex and it will still b e showing blue. In that case you will need to change the screen of the phone.

Nothing on the display just a dull orange light.

Why don't you try the SE Website? They will give a program called Updater, or something like it. You will hook up the phone to the computer and it will tell you which OS you have in the phone, if it's already update, it will prompt you if you want to run the update for your phone, just click yes and it should be restore by then.

Only white light appears nothing else appears.

first try to connect to a pc using the usb and check if u can get connected and browseif this works then there is a problem with the display else the OS of the phone is lost

beware that all your data will be lost on the phone if the following procedure is followed

hold the green button '3' button and the '*' button simultaniously and then power on the device hold the keys till 'FORMATTING' is displayed on the screen

My phone won't turn on!

you may broken the turn on button so when u connect it you turn it on instantly. try connecting it and then when its turning on pulling the cord out fast and it may send u to the page were u enter ur pin code or if u dont have one then it will send u to the main screen. but then u wont be able to turn it off and you may have to try a few times

Indicator light on Alcatel 4039 Flashing orange

no problem it's just a missed call indicator... press it and on the display screen it will say missed internal or external call, press the button adjacent to that and it will display the caller id of the missed call... again press the adjacent button and you will be presented with the option to delete the missed call... as soon as you have the orange light will stop flashing. On a 4019 the sequence is Orange button, 5 times up arrow until the identity of the missed caller is displayed ok, ok again to delete and then back arrow 4 times... hope this helps :-)
