We have a ryobi 4046C chainsaw and the oil is not getting onto the chain. Have removed the bar and cleaned the hole where the oil should be coming out from to no avail. This is a chainsaw that hasn't had...

Re problems with oil feed on ryobi 4046C, Oil is fed by worm drive and this becomes worn. Contact Augmented Agents on 0161 477 3388 and they will assist you with necessary parts. if you don't know which part ring 01628894400 they will e-mail you blow up plan and parts list. The drive cog is a left hand thread and can be nocked off with a drift of some description (I used a screw driver held flat) this then exposes screws to access oil pump

Chain not lubricating on Ryobi 4046c chain saw

Have exactly the same problem as you, think the oil pump is the problem but can't find a supplier for the part yet. I blew done the pipe into the oil tank using an air line and it was OK.

What size file do i use for a Ryobi chainsaw model PCN4545 to sharpen the chain

The standard chain file should fit it. It is about 3/16 dia. I found the dremel to work 10 times better, they have a little stone bit just for chains. Eventually, you have to take it in for sharpening, it will set all the teeth the same.

Need new piston, rings and head for rcs 4046c ryobi chainsaw anyone know were ?

Search for Dixie sales in north carolina, they are the distributer for ryobi parts in the US and Canada, lookint the pricing to determine if its wirth the efforts.check the crankshaft and connecting rod bearings for damage also. Its more then likely that they are damaged from the same problem that caused your piston and cylinder to score

I bought a new chain to replace the poor one that comes with MY new 18" gas chain saw....but it does not fit into the groove on the bar....the new chain is too wide...the length is perfect though....does...

The difference is the gauge of the chain. The chain comes in .050, .058, and .063 gauge. I am sure that Ryobi does not offer but one gauge bar. This is just one of the many problems of dealing with the box stores rather than a full service qualified dealer. If you can find one in your area, patronize them. Not just when the box store lets you down but for everything. These type dealers are disappearing and are not being replaced and soon they will all be gone. If you can not find one in your area contact southern supply company at 205-833-2525 or email them at southern.supply@mindspring.com and I feel sure Jason or someone there can help you.

I am trying to get the blade off my ryobi 4046c chainsaw so I can replace the chain. I have the two largr bolts off but not sure what else is keeping the clutch cover on.

Shouldn't be anything else. The bar might just be stuck a little through buildup of dust and chips etc. try riggling the back back and forward to see if it will free it. The cover should be removed and the internal areas cleaned after each use for maximum life.

Ryobi battery chainsaw 10" - How do I tighten the chain?

loosen the two nuts that hold the chain cover on. Once they are just loose, then use a flat blade screw driver to turn the slot that you see right next to the base of the chain. Once the chain is tight, retighten the two nuts.
