Question about Haier HL37S 37 in. LCD HDTV
I took out the four screws that were shown on the diagram that came with the tv but the stand is still attached and I don't want to force it. How do I get the stand off the t.v. so I can mount it? HL37S
Use a flat head screw driver... place the screw driver between tv and the stand....tilt the screw driver up and down... go from each side left side of the tv the the right. continue til the stand is of completely... be gentle so there is no damage on the tv.

Tips for a great answer:

1) Carefully lay the front of the unit face down on a flat, cushioned surface such as a quilt or blanket. Leave the stand protruding over the edge of the surface.
Extreme care should always be used when removing the pedestal stand to avoid damage to the LCD panel.
2) Remove the jack pack cover on the back of the TV to expose the pedestal stand screws. The jack pack cover can be removed without tools.
3) Remove the five screws shown in the diagram below. This will allow removal of the pedestal stand.
4) Once you have removed all five screws holding the pedestal stand in place, remove the pedestal stand from the TV by sliding the pedestal stand a way from the TV (Remorve 5, 4mm or 5/32" Allen Bolts from back of TV.)
