Question about Toshiba 40E210U 40 in. LCD TV
I have a 40" Toshiba LCD TV - when I turn it on, the picture flases on for about a half second, then goes black. Sound is still working. Green light is on front. Any ideas what may be wrong?

Display IC seems to have gone. It will be a replaceable module. Only you have to figure out which one it is. Such thing happen in electronics. Look for any burnt or bulged IC.

Does this happen with all the HDMI inputs. If only the one then jack is bad. Replace the main board. If on all HDMI inputs see if replacing the cable helps.
