I recommend doing a hard reset on the phone (You will loose everything on it currently). I had a very similar problem with my phone, but the reset fixed it. I couldn't reset my phone through the preferences because the touch screen didn't work. I figured out this other method: 1. Power off the phone, 2. Hold down the lower volume button+power/sleep button, 3. Keep holding those two buttons until the phone comes up with a menu, 4. Use the up and down volume buttons to navigate the menu to: wipe data/factory reset and press the power/sleep button (to select), 5. Navigate the menu to: confirm and press the power/sleep button again, 6. It should do its thing.
SOME OF THE MENU NAMES MAY BE SLIGHTLY DIFFERENT. If you are confused by my instructions or something is wrong, please let me know.
there might be some ic or chips inside mis contact, you'll need to bring it to service center for them to openit and re-solder the parts that is affected, if still under warranty then just bring there and they will do the fixing, there is no need to replace parts, a it is needed is re-heating or re-solder
Issue – Bottom half of iPhonetouch screendoes not work. Solution - Standard troubleshooting steps in order are power the iPhone off and on, Reset, Restore from backup, Restore as a new iPhone or not from backup and if no change after any or all, call Apple Care – (800) 694-7466 or make an appointment at an Apple Store to have this checked if there is one nearby.
Issue -iPhone “touch screen” dead. Solution - Connect your phone to iTunes and do a full restore, it will replace all information on your phone prior to your last syn. If it doesn’t help call Apple Care – (800) 694-7466.
Issue - The top half of my iPhone screen is not working at all Solution - If restore doesn’t work – you could schedule online an appointment with a genius at an Apple store http://www.apple.com/retail/
Issue – My screen cracked. How much would it cost to get it replaced? Solution - Terrible situation but Apple doesn’t warranty the glass. This would be a minimum of $250 to get fixed out of your pocket.
Hope one of the solution helps…

i recommend sending the phone to the manufacturer, i had the same problem on my tocco (f480) took it to carphonewarehouse were i intended to pay for a repair however due to the phone being in warranty you can get the screen fixed for free.
It's relatively simple, I did this way: (my phone has the call off and photo buttons that don't work..and had had the touchscreen apparently broken) I tried to completely disassemble the phone and when I reassembled it, the touchscreen worked perfectly.. But the buttons doesn't work...
