Over sight from the teck. Most units are designed to drain off the side of the coach. If you do not want to take it back. Installation as your speaking of is the only solution. Other wise the unit is going to drain down the side of the coach.

Hi dickd65,

You may want to contact US Parts Center at 1-888-521-6183, Mon-Fri 8am-6pm EST. They make replacement 0-rings and gaskets for many of the different spa and pool equipment manufacturers. Check out with them if they have already available o-ring/gasket for your Delta Whirlpool tub.

Hope it helps.

Water is leaking out drain during cycling; cubes are thinner than normal. Does water valve need to be replaced or check rubber gasket?

Just above the pump there is a check valve that may be stuck open
during operation which will cause thin ice. Also make sure you have the o-ring on the bottom of the drain tube if it was removed during cleaning.

I have a badger 9 garbage disposal unit, and it leaks after installing from the discharge outlet at the top of the discharge tube under the side flange. I replaced a badger 1 and I used the old gasket as...

Location of leak is not known for sure.
Sounds like leak is where tubular drain pipe connects to side of disposal?
If leak is where disposal connects to sink, typically this connection is sealed using plumbers putty.

Open following link for disposal instructions:

1) If leak is at rubber gasket for tailpiece connection on side of disposal:
I don't know if your local home depot sells gaskets. Probably not sold separately.

2) Go to home depot and take rubber gasket out of a new garbage disposal box.

3) Or buy new disposal with a gasket, use the gasket and return disposal saying that part was missing..

4) To seal old gasket, use rectoseal white pipe joint compound.
Cover the gasket with rectoseal and then assemble parts.
Open following link above for photo of rectoseal.
I always use rectoseal on tubular drain connections for 100% seal first time every time.

I have the Decolav 1201 SS sink under-mounted to my granite counter. It appears that I need a special drain as none of the ones I saw available are for sinks that are the thickness of stainless steel...

Did you add the rubber gaskets so they are on the underside of the sink? If they are on the underside of the sink, then I think you're modification is a good one, and I'm not sure the gaskets are the cause of slow drain. Not sure what would cause the last inch to drain slowly. Now, if the gaskets are inside the sink bowl (i.e. visible from above) and the drain tube is elevated up from the base of the sink bowl, then there's is a likely source for the problem...

After one year of usage my portable A/C drains on the floor approximately 3pint / hr. Unit was raised so that the water can drain into a container without weting the carpet . This situation needs to be...

This is what the manual says:

When the internal water container is full, the back light on the LCD display flashes. The unit will shut off automatically, beep 15 times, and must be drained before it will restart.

To Drain the Unit: switch off the unit and remove the plug from the wall socket.

• DO NOT MOVE THE UNIT. Doing this can result in water

leakage, damaging your floor or carpet.

• Place the drain pan on the floor under the drain cap.

• Remove the drain cap and the rubber stopper from the

drain, and let the water run out. Partially fill the drain pan,

replace the rubber stopper, and empty the drain pan.

This procedure must be repeated until the unit is empty.

• Replace the rubber stopper and drain cap.

Put plug into the wall socket, and switch the unit on.

The warning signal should be off.

For Continuous Drainage: • Switch off the unit and remove the plug from the electrical outlet.

• Remove the Drain Cap and Rubber Stopper. Drain if necessary.

• Connect a Drain Tube (not included) (20mm / 3/4" inner dimension) on to the water outlet.

• Place the other end in a drain. Make sure the tube is free from twists and bends.

The tube must decline over its entire length.

Hello: Yes, There should be a rubber gasket on the drain plug. It must of come off when you removed the plug. I don't think you can just purchase the gasket by itself, you might can purchase a new drain plug at a Auto Parts Store or at a GM dealership. Check the drain pan you used to drain the radiator it might still be in there. Normally you don,t have to completely remove the plug to drain the radiator.

2001 aztek,leaking manifold gasket,hard to change?would u have picture

Leaking manifold gaskets are REALLY common for pontiacs.... best advice is go to a shop get a rubber tube run through your gasket instead of replacing the gasket (replacement would be around $1,000 where as the tube fix is $300 and it's the same result) and then for your coolant avoid Dexcool it has been know to corrode metal that's why Pontiacs always have issues with the gaskets.

Can you put a patch on the rubber gasket of a frontloader? the hole is just above the drain hole by the front door.

Try using bicycle inner tube repair patch, because it has the same flexibility as the rubber gasket on door, make sure rubber on door is clean and dry before applying rubber patch

Ice build up condensation will not drain down the tube to the catch pan under the refiridgerator. As much as 3 inches of ice will build up between the veg bins, causing mold builup in fridge, Model 550...

I had the same problem but fixed it recently. The problem originates with the drain trough mounted on the back interior wall of the fridge that slopes down into the middle. The drain tube is attached at this point and runs to the pan under the unit. This drain trough is screwed to the interior and sealed with silicone caulking. Over time the caulking breaks free from the interior wall of the fridge allowing the defrosted water to leak past the trough, collecting in the bottom of the compartment under the veggie drawer. It freezes there building up an ice ***** that eventuallly wraps around the drain tube. Any water that now runs into the tube freezes in place over time forming an ice plug preventing any drainage at all. Now the defrosted water begins to flood the interior of the fridge eventually leaking out which it did in our situtation.

There are two solutions. One is to take off the drain trough, clean it up and the interior wall of the fridge. Also thaw out the ice plug in the drain tube and make sure it is clean and drains freely. I used hot water and a syringe to inject it into the tube until the ice melted. Dry everything off. Reattach the drain trough using silicone caulking approved for kitchen/bath use. You may have to shut down the fridge and warm it up to meet the application temperature limit of the silicpne. The other solution is simpler. After cleaning and drying the drain trough, I applied an adhesive backed closed cell foam rubber gasket (3/16" thick automotive) to the back surface of the trough that sits against the interior wall of the fridge when in place. When screwed back in place, the gasket is compressed preventing water from leaking past. The fridge does not have to be warmed up for this fix. It has been in place for a few months now with now problems.

Change rubber gasket

Remove the door hinges and plastic covers on the unused hinge screw holes on the opposite side of the door opening (door is reversable, so there are places to mount hinges left and right). Front panel will now snap out at top and lift off lower spring clips. One screw on each side will now release top panel and it will hinge up. Prop up with broom handle or something. Now you can get at everthing. Rubber gasket is held onto drum with a cable loop and very strong spring. It rolls off the lip easily to disassemble but is VERY difficult to get back on without special tools or at least two people. We used strong vice grips and much struggling and sweat, and #@*&%!&@ and finally got it on without damage to the new gasket. Door side of rubber gasket is easy in comparison with rubber tabs inserted into slots and working the gasket into a groove. Hose clamp at bottom of rubber gasket to connect drain hose.
