Starts but won't stay running, i clean carburator and still have same problem, unit has been used very little, still look new,
Have you checked your oil? You need pump oil half way up in reservoir. Open plug on top of pump and check oil. Pump takes SAE 20 or 30
Next, open oil plug below engine and check your oil level. It should come up 1/2 way on dip stick. Engine takes 10W30. Don't turn washer on its side or upside down to drain oil or oil will run into carburetor.
Is the water turned on? Are you holding gun trigger open while starting? Pump needs water flow. DO NOT tie gun trigger open with wire and then start engine. That gun will flip around and shoot a hole in your leg.
If the engine starts, then you have gas, spark and compression
If engine won't stay running, the exhaust port might be clogged, or the carburetor is not letting in enough gas, or gas is not flowing to carburetor.
Check the screen over exhaust port > is it dirty or clogged? Clean with WD-40 or break it out with a screwdriver.
Remove gas filter below gas tank >>> it has a hex bolt >> loosen bolt >> the gas should come flowing out >> put it back if gas comes out
Next remove rubber gas line feeding gas to carburetor >> gas should flow out this line too >> if flows then put it back.
What about your air filter? Take it off. See if engine fires and runs without air filter. Air filter may be clogged.
While air filter is out, you can see open port to carburetor. Spray some WD-40 into carburetor. Fire up the engine. It should spark real healthy on the WD-40. Keep spraying WD-40 into carburetor to see if you can keep engine going. Don't forget to keep gun trigger open so water is flowing and pressure is not building in pump.
If engine keeps going with WD-40 but dies without it, then your carburetor is very suspect. You might need a new one.
If engine will not keep going with WD-40, then the spark is very suspect.
Change spark plug. Try again. If it doesn't fire up after that, you need to take it to the shop for repair.
