HELP!! Rival doesn't have them, and my fryer is fairly new and rarely used, so I hate to have to get a new fryer just because I cannot find a replacement cord!
-   I have the Rival CF 153- WM and i have misplace my power plug cord also due to movingfairly arrangements so I am looking for a cord because ours is in good shape and I would hate to throw it away and get a brand new one they make extra cords for everythang else to be sure they should have extra ones for deep fryers.-   ninamelv2004

-   Has anyone found a replacement cord for the Rival cf153 yet? I, too, lost my cord when I moved! I only used it 3 or 4 times, and am not buying a new one!! Even though the cord, if anyone ever figures out how to get one, will probably cost as much as getting a new one anyway. I was glad to hear other people had trouble getting the break away cord to stay on the fryer, I thought I just didn't know how to do it right!! I'll never buy anything with a break away cord again...too dangerous.-   muffykmh

-   I also am looking for this cord, as mine is acting like it is shorting out, you have to wiggle it in place to get to stay on. I have just now started looking on the net, but it isn't looking too hopeful. Mine is fairly new, but can't exchange, past the warranty, and I have no receipt, which is from Wal-Mart, so according to others, they don't carry it anymore. Wow, this is disgusting, knowing that they manufacture something without replacements. The 'Good 'OLE Days' are surely fading out.-   jake-melody

-   While moving, I also misplaced the cord. I can't and don't believe that the can't send a replacement. I guess I will have to buy a new fryer, but I will NOT buy Rival anything ever again. Hope it was worth it to them to screw people.-   Guest

-   I cannot safely plug in the cord to the back of this deep fryer. I recently received this deep fryer as a gift and threw away the box so I could store the deep fryer in the cabinet. Recently I decided to use it and noticed the cord would not stay connected to the back of the deep fryer. This is a clearly a safety hazard and a default from the manufacturer. I went to Walmart (where my mother purchased it) and without a receipt/original box and they don't carry CF153 model anymore, I cannot exchange it for one that works. I looked on the internet and found only a Rival phone number in CHINA. Is there a 1-800 number I can call?-   Guest
I also lost the cord to my deep fryer. I have called several times over the past 6 months and they cannot find a cord for me. I can't believe they are still selling a product without replacement parts! That is what we get with a China product. Call 1-800-546-5637. Good Luck.
