you will have to find out what type of ram it is DDR, DDR2, DDR3, and how many sockets the motherboard has.

- you should just be able to buy 2 i gig sticks of ddr2 with the same clock rate that the 512 you take out of it either 553 667 or 800 you want to go back with the same just to be safe. There are a few websites that sell this ram like www.mwave.com or www.newegg.com or just got to a local computer store.Yes
