Toshiba Satellite Pro M200 touchpad - Altering the settings

I do not like the way the Satellite Pro M200 touchpad works. I would like to change the settings:

1. Disable drag & Drop by mouse.
2. Disable click lock. (I tried the mouse control panel- but it does not work- it still locks the click)

Could you please give any solutions?

Remove the reference to the touchpad in the box that refers to the pointing device. select "other" and connect a USB mouse, slow it down and all should be ok

My satellite Pro M200 Laptop function keys and MM buttons are not working after installing WIN7.

get a driver update for ur toshiba laptop... while installing ur win7 u must have deleted ur drivers therefore ur computer doesnt recognize there happens to be multimedia set of keys... reinstalling drivers for the multimedia keys must set it right

Touchpad not working

There is a button to activate touchpad or due to virus infection the driver for that has been courupted you need to reinstall drivers or format your laptop & then install any antivirus software and scan

No sound

try to check the speakers or microphone lines and jacks whether they are connected properly . if still does not work, then check the audio settings under sound and devices in control panel.
If still makes no difference , then try reinstalling the audio drivers via the CD that was provided to you or u can find the drivers on http://www.toshiba.com or http://www.driverfiles.net/Notebooks/Toshiba/Tecra-9100/download/page,sh,31396,221,19,.html

Free WLAN XP drivers for Satellite M200 laptop for windows xp

I believe the M200 uses Intel's Wireless. Try this link: Intel PRO Wireless and WiFi Link Drivers.
If Not using Intels then please post the Hardware ID String from Hardware Device Manager.
