SOURCE: Cartridge error
I have a hp officejet all-in-one 6213 series printer . It was bought in South Africa about 2 yrs ago , now I am living in London ,England I have moved regions and the cartridges which were used in SA were hp 131 and hp 135 . I have found compatible hp 344 & 338 cartridges here in the uk ; but when I inserted them into my all- in- one system TH READING FROM THE SYSTEM STATES THAT there is a CARTRIDGE ERROR FOR USE IN THAT PRINTER. My question is how do I make my system accept these cartridges ? Lenna15

It could be that windows 2000 cant handle the data that is being transmitted to it (too much to interpret and transmit so it gets backlogged and corrupt) through your network, I would suggest installing either a queing software on the computer so that it feeds the data one piece at a timne, or upgrading the computer to XP or windows Server 2003/2007.

*** Fix your HP Photosmart D7360 (Reset Code/Master Reset) ***
1- Turn off power and unplug from power source.
2- Open right side of printer (looking at the front).
3- Disconnect,by pulling gently, both white flat ribbon cables off the main circuit board.
4- Plug in power source and turn printer on. Wait till you get a error message and push "Ok".
5- Unplug power source.
6- Reconnect the flat ribbon cables by aligning and carefully pushing into the conectors on the main circuit board.
7- Plug in power source and turn printer on (Printer preparing occurred).
8- voila, the nasty error message 0xc18a0001 "Ink System has Failed" is now gone.
