I have an Olympus D-460 Zoom 1.3 megapixel which I've had about a year. I bought it used and it was working fine up until about a week ago. Whenever I snapped a picture the button seemed to get stuck and nothing would happen and also the flash wouldn't go off. I would have to close the lens and re-open it again to get it working. Do you think that maybe the batteries I'm using are too weak? Let me know. Thanks.

Yes, you are right. The batteries have gone out of power for sure. I had a similar problem with my cam sometime before. The battery actually doesnt gets 100% discharged. Itworks whenever you repower the cam. But when taking a picture it just needs more power for the flash light. Since the battery is weak/out, the entire unit shuts down. Change your batteries and you are done :)

Thank you!
