Since Troy built doesn't make their own stuff anymore. You might try Surfing " Troy built 233644 same as" and see if Murry or some other manufacturer has the same machine with a different paint job.
I have a troy built 2 cycle pro-line tb90bc spring assist trimer.
its getting fuel and it wouldn't start I took out the spark plug and it was wet with fuel. pls fwd any info to [email protected]
The starter recoil spring may have possibly broke or the rope is hung up somewhere on or in the pulley. A lot of these units are assembled using Torx (Star) head screws and disassembly requires a couple different sizes to accomplish. Take your time...you will see the screw heads, but reloading a starter spring for a trimmer is a little tricky and you may need help doing so, but you can fix this yourself.
remove plastic belt cover remove the guard,belt/pulley work in the right side first: remove the rigth-side wheel remove the screws of the bumper remove 2 screws on bracket/transmission assembly pull the bracket install the new belt reinstall the right side screws and wheel
do the same in the left side Ps: remove the belt guide, and reverse return spring
