Question about GE (PSS26MSRSS) Side by Side Refrigerator
Frozer side on back panel has to mani ice and other side not have 42 F, now 52, no OF ini time vorking long time not stop,
Basically did you defrost all the ice and frost with a hair dryer and reassemble the unit? Things should run normally for a few days if you did so and then the ice will build up once again. You have one of those GE units with a electronic control board and what is known as an adaptive defrost system. It is difficult to diagnose without technical literature and knowledge of those units. In my experience the most common problems with those units is the defrost heater shorting out.
Also likely a defective defrost timer motor.
check these 2 links and go through it
