It's a hose from the tank to a dummy fitting on the frame....unclamp the hose and the oil runs out.

When changing the engine oil, don't forget to also change the primary/transmission oil.

there is a hose with a plug in it under the motor,it has a clamp holding the plug in remove that and hey presto out comes the oil .it is advisable to remove the dip stick in the reseviour tank to release suction pressure.

if u feel i ve been of help.... kindly rate my service... good luck

hi this is iversh 2005 fatboy
in a Plug is recessed in the right end of the frame crossbar just in front
of the rear wheel. Warm the engine up before draining oil so all oil
is out of cam cover and crankcase. Bike must be standing straight up
or tilted slightly to right to get all oil out. Plug is a 5/8 hex with
a 1/4" allen in the middle. Clean magnet, and O-ring should be
replaced if flattened or frayed with HD part # 11105. 3 Qts. 20/50 HD
    oil and 63798-99A oil filter.

Can I change gearbox oil and filter at home on a Mazda 323 protege BA 95 model and how

Yes you can, but it is a messy and possibly problematic job. DO THIS WITH A COLD ENGINE AND GEARBOX! First you will need to find out how much replacement fluid you will need and you'll need to source the torque settings for when you put the plugs back in.
The whole car needs to off the ground. A car lift, a pit or axle stands will be needed. You will need something to drain the fluid into FOR SAFE DISPOSAL!! An oil drain pan is ideal.
On the gearbox housing there should be two drain plugs. One high and one low. You will probably need a specialist tool or adapter to remove the plug.
Remove the LOWER plug carefully and catch the draining fluid. Once drained, PUT THE PLUG BACK IN!!
With the bottom plug back in at the correct tightness, remove the top plug. Refill through this hole. Use a piece of hose and a funnel if it is difficult to get to. The refill amount is commonly to the point where the fluid will overflow from the fill hole.
Clean everything properly. GENTLY test drive the car and recheck for leaks.

2010 Peugeot 207 gearbox drain/filler/level bungs

The drain plug is situated on the final drive casing at the rear of the transmission (plug may need a square or hex drive wrench).

There is no level plug - the correct qty of oil must be measured and then poured in.
If Petrol 1.9 ltrs, diesel 2.0.

The oil is 75/80w.

How do i change transmission fluild an filter

Hi J, Clean the whole area around the drain plug and oil pan. Drain the fluid from the drain plug at the lowest point of the gearbox oil pan. When drained into the required receptacle, remove all bolts around the oil pan and drop it. The oil filter is located inside and held in place by fixing bolts. Remove those and replace the filter. This job requires the utmost cleanliness, and no contamination should be allowed to get inside the gearbox. Refit oil pan using a new gasket and refill gearbox to required level. Always check the gearbox level with the engine running, the selector in neutral and the park brake fully engaged. Regards John

Suzuki Epicuro gearbox oil change

Check on the backside of the differential for a drain plug. If one is on the lower part, then the one above it will be for refilling the unit.

Is it just open drain plug and refill or is there aproblem of air pockets the tranny is 4x4 with transfer box in same housing

there is no need to blead air from the gearbox or transfer, or diff's
first the transfer and gearbox are together but use their own oils and are changed seperatly
remove the drain plug to drain, refit then refill through the filler flug, the correct level is thesame as the filler so when starts draining from the filler hole its full. car needs to be level/flat ground when doing this.
if its auto there will be a tube for checking the level, at the back of the engine under the bonnet. auto trans oil does need the engine running to check for correct level.
remove drain plug with the engine off, refill approx same amount of oil in to the dipstick tube, then start the engine, select each gear for a couple of secconds then back to neutral, check level with engine still running. adjust level if needed.

How do you refill transmission fluid? Fluid was drained accidentally thinking it was oil drain plug....

You will need a large mechanics seringe. There will be filling plug above the drain plug .May be on front or the rear of your gearbox.
With the seringe **** up the fluid from a container and insert in the filling hole.Once the gearbox is full ,you will see fluid coming out of the filling hole.Thats the level and job done.
