Ferguson f20320dtr Has stopped recording series, I.e. Holby, but when I try to record next time, it tells me it already has been instructed to record. Another thing is, that it records some programmes as BBC Wales, instead if BBC West, and the Welsh ones are distorted and have to be deleted.

It perhaps has somekind of automatic shutdown when not in use. It should have a way to turn this off. Look around the menu system, it might come under power options etc. Or look in the manual for auto power functions.

You must ahve a remote tht has setup codes for Ferguson. You can not this at its catelogue.

If you are in an area that is being switched over from analogue to digitial you might lose channels to do with that. Another reason could be the leads between the TV and Aerial connections. Make certain that they have good connections and use proper screened cables. Some people also have several transmitters around them, some of which have weaker signals than others. Some channels will therefore not appear. Check the box is tuning into the strongest signals.
If you manual retune then find out the frequencies of the strongest transmitter in your area first and set it on them.

Well you simply are one among 1000's with the same problems, one of the main reasons most of us will never buy a camera that puts films on DVD.
I can tell you that 99% of the time if yu get this problem you wont have captured any pics on the DVD anyway, so do not worry about not playing a disk, they simply are not reliable to record on them, use a good TAPE camera next time ok?

1a] press and hold down STOP/set button and wait for promps.....
ie. press NEXT to change Day stamp and then SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Hour and SET to pick.
ie. press NEXT to change Minute and SET to pick.
1b] press NEXT to pick 1minute allowance recording for recieving messages coming in, or 2 minutes or 3 minutes or 4 minutes. This machine only has 1/2 hour of recording time, so maybe you can 'tell' -record- that and let incoming callers know they have only minutes and machine will automatically shut off and cut them off [hang-up] on them.
2] press and hold down Greeting button and follow promps to change the answering machine voice promps to your own voice. Machine will automatically PLAY BACK your voice, if you don't like what you hear, press and hold down Greeting button again and try again.
